Commitment of management
The leaders of Cots i Claret are fully involved in managing the company through implementation of the Integrated Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety Management System throughout the company.
Our Integrated Management System has primary objectives to:
- Ensure that our projects and maintenance service reach the highest possible levels of quality in order to increase customer satisfaction through effective application of the system, including processes for its continuous improvement and ensured compliance with customer requirements and all applicable requirements.
- Minimise the environmental impact of the company’s daily activities, taking its environmental sensitivity and awareness, legal requirements and information regarding significant environmental aspects into account. The organisation identifies the environmental aspects that it can control and establishes those that it can influence.
- Prevent, minimise and eliminate all risks to which our staff and all possible stakeholders are exposed: suppliers and subcontractors who collaborate with us on our projects and maintenance service. And comply with legal and other requirements.
Two concepts stand out in our integrated management philosophy:
- Establishing and implementing procedures where prevention is the means of avoiding defects and risks and minimising the environmental impact.
- Maintaining the system for managing and planning activities in order to achieve continuous improvement by establishing corrective/preventive measures to be applied, with the aim of achieving the trend of zero defects.
The trust of all those involved in our projects and maintenance service ─ who ensure the highest quality, environmental respect and safety in our activities ─ will be the most precious guarantee of the future for our society.
To achieve these goals, we are ready and willing to advocate in-depth actions to constantly improve not only the level of our company, but also that of our suppliers and subcontractors.
This commitment of Cots i Claret's management involves all its managerial and production staff in order to follow the defined policy and achieve the established objectives. To this end, a Manual of the Integrated Management System is implemented as a basis for action in accordance with UNE Standard - EN ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018, compliance with which is both important and mandatory throughout the company’s structure.
Defining the Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Policy
Cots i Claret’s Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety and Health Policy, issued by the management of the company, is aimed at meeting our stakeholders’ needs and expectations and ensuring efficiency in company operations in order to strengthen our competitiveness.
To gain the full trust of our customers, the company provides competent human and technical resources to meet their requirements, as well as a system to ensure compliance with the commitments made.
To this end, as a construction, installation and maintenance company, Cots i Claret is organised in line with the recommendations of the standards UNE – EN ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 14001: 2015 and ISO 45001: 2018 and encourages the use of planning, control and prevention techniques in order to ensure:
- Quality is achieved in the study and analysis of the project, formulating better optimisation, if necessary.
- The established quality levels in doing the work are reached, with strict observance of the agreed terms and costs.
- Proper environmental management and occupational health and safety, especially the proper management of the waste generated and compliance with current regulations on environmental issues and occupational health and safety and other requirements that the company subscribes.
- Provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injuries and deterioration in health.
- Final delivery of the project with all the agreed guarantees.
- Environmental protection and pollution prevention.
- Cots i Claret values the permanent involvement of all its staff and considers them its most valuable asset. It promotes their continuous professional training, communication and teamwork and strengthens worker consultation and participation to encourage their active involvement in implementing new processes and in solving problems in order to achieve continuous improvement in the quality, productivity, environment and safety and health of the company.
However, the company considers the deeply loyal partnership of its suppliers and subcontractors to be of the utmost importance and will demand of them the same degree of commitment and business competence towards quality, the environment and occupational health and safety. As such, it will select them with criteria to globally evaluate their organisation, products and services.
This quality, environmental and occupational health and safety policy is implemented with the establishment of objectives and the structuring of the integrated management system, which describe the processes with which the action plans to achieve them are developed.
Quality, environmental and occupational health and safety goals
Management is responsible for establishing the company’s general objectives of quality, environmental management and occupational health and safety in its work and for conducting the appropriate monitoring.
